Making a Difference

Alex joined our LeaderLife team in 2017 and is well-known across Dubbo for his readiness to help and encourage kids, his active involvement in community events and youth programs, and his great sense of humour and passion for sport.

We get to see first hand the positive impact Alex has on kids’ lives, particularly through his involvement in community youth programs and his work in our Soil2Soul lime farm business, yard maintenance and furniture removal projects - where he mentors, guides, supports and inspires young people. Alex has also been busy facilitating our popular school holiday workshops and playing in a weekly touch football with at-risk youth and police.

Not one to rest, Alex’s 2021 goals are to see the kids in our Skillbuilders program happy and thriving, and to help grow the opportunities for the young people in our Soil2Soul program.

Congratulations Alex! This honour is well-deserved.
