LeaderLife Actively in Summer

Thanks to Regional NSW - Office of Regional Youth, 12-24 year olds from Apollo Estate and all across Dubbo participated in our LeaderLife Actively in Summer Program during January 2024. The holiday program was co-designed with the young people who enjoyed two day trips to Sport and Rec at Burrendong Dam. Each day was action packed with a range of activities that challenged new skills and demanded great confidence including, grass skiing, team raft building, archery tag, pedal carts, archery, pool games and the favourite… a giant slip n slide! The young ones also enjoyed a competitive game of paintball at Dubbo Action Sports that required a huge amount of discipline, a trip to the movies and attended the Western Plains Cultural Centre to view the Ceremony: 4TH National Indigenous Art Triennial Exhibition.

It takes a village to raise strong, resilient, happy kids and we are always humbled and grateful for the support from our funders and supporters like the Office of Regional Youth. The youth are currently planning and designing the next school holidays. Watch this space!
